As we approach the end of the year, this 7-day Bible study will guide you through reflection on God's favor, blessings, and protection. We'll meditate on His unchanging nature, goodness, and kindness, while also taking time for introspection.

Malachi 3:6 assures us that because God does not change, we are not consumed. His faithfulness and love are constant, even when we falter. This means that the same God who delivered the Israelites, healed the sick, and raised the dead is the same God who is present with us today. God's unchanging nature also means that His character remains the same. He is always loving, just, merciful, and holy. It is not enough to merely hear about His goodness; we are called to actively partake in it, to trust in Him and find our blessing in that trust. Psalm 27:13 reminds us of the importance of belief in God's goodness. The psalmist admits that he would have lost heart if not for his belief in the goodness of the Lord. This verse emphasizes the sustaining power of faith in God's goodness, especially during difficult times. When we face challenges and uncertainties, it is our belief in God's character and His promises that keep us hopeful and grounded. As you reflect on these verses, think about the specific moments in your life where you have experienced God's goodness.
