This means that we should openly express our fears and concerns to God, but also remember to thank Him for His faithfulness and provision. When we do this, we are promised a peace that surpasses all understanding, a divine peace that will guard our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Moreover, in John 14:27, Jesus Himself reassures us of the peace He provides. He tells us that the peace He gives is not like the fleeting peace the world offers. The peace Jesus gives is enduring and transformative. It is a peace that can calm our troubled hearts and dispel our fears.
