25+ Bible Verses About Trust

Bible Verses About Trust

Updated At:

June 6, 2025

Trust is valuable, and when it breaks, it's not easy to fix. In relationships, trust is frequently broken. Someone who has been harmed numerous times in a relationship may have trouble trusting a new romantic partner since they have learned to distrust those people repeatedly.

Those who have experienced the trauma of a break-in, theft, or attack tend to be extra watchful and careful going forward. They are wary of those they come into contact with. With how broken and divided our world is today, it's hard to trust those around us, even those we call neighbors or sometimes friends. Some believe that those who put too much faith in others are the ones who end up hurt the most. However, there is always one thing we can trust unconditionally—no matter what comes our way, we can have faith that God will shield us from harm.

When you feel like you can't trust anyone or anything, read these trust verses from the Bible to remember that God is with you no matter what. He will teach you to trust again because we must always have confidence in His plan. Faith in God provides the strength to overcome the temptations of pride and manipulation, as we see with the story of Jezebel (1 Kings 16:31). Trusting in God helps us avoid the paths that lead to destruction, offering a better way to live with integrity.
