This means focusing on what God has called us to do and finding joy in fulfilling that calling, rather than comparing ourselves to others. In 1 Corinthians 12:12-14, Paul illustrates the beauty of diversity within the body of Christ. Just as the human body has many parts, each with its own function, so does the body of Christ. But today, let's turn our focus to God's acceptance, which is unconditional and unwavering. Isaiah 43:4 reminds us of God's immense love and value for us. He says, "Since you were precious in My sight, You have been honored, And I have loved you; Therefore I will give men for you, And people for your life." This powerful declaration from God highlights our worth in His eyes. We are precious, honored, and dearly loved by Him. Unlike human acceptance, which can be fickle and conditional, God's acceptance is steadfast and rooted in His everlasting love for us. Ephesians 1:6 further reinforces our acceptance in God. It says, "to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved." Through Christ, we are accepted into God's family.    Building Self-Esteem Through God's Word

   Passages: Psalm 139:13-14 · Ephesians 2:10

   Today’s study focuses on building self-esteem through understanding how wonderfully God made you. In Psalm 139:13-14, David praises God for forming his inward parts and covering him in his mother’s womb. This passage reminds us that every part of our being was intentionally crafted by God. We are not accidents or afterthoughts but deliberate and intricate works of the Creator. This intrinsic value should boost our self-esteem, knowing that we are marvelously made by the hands of God. In Ephesians 2:10, Paul further underscores this truth by calling us God’s workmanship. The Greek word for workmanship is “poiema,” which is where we get the word poem. God prepared good works for you to walk in even before you were born. This means that your life has meaning and significance beyond what the world might tell you. Understanding that you are fearfully and wonderfully made can transform how you view yourself.
