Keeping Jesus on Your Mind
To keep our hearts and minds fixed on Jesus, engaging with the Bible is essential. As Psalm 119:105 says, 'Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path,' illuminating our way through life's complexities. Regular study of the Scriptures, like the discerning words of Hebrews 4:12, helps us internalize God's truth. In Joshua 1:8, we are reminded to meditate on the Book of the Law day and night. Prayer is another cornerstone, with Philippians 4:6-7 encouraging us to present our requests to God, ensuring peace that transcends understanding. Fellowship with fellow believers, as modeled in Hebrews 10:24-25, fosters mutual encouragement and growth, creating an environment where Christ's presence is continuously affirmed.
