Creating Treasured Memories: Open Soul Foundation Partners with Step By Step Foundation in Romania

In December 2025, Open Soul Foundation partnered with Step By Step Foundation in Romania to create Treasure Chest Boxes for children living in orphanages. Through professional photos, handmade scrapbooks, shared meals, and storytelling, the children preserved meaningful memories and experienced belonging. The weekend also empowered them to give back by preparing gift boxes for other children in need. As part of our ongoing monthly outreach, this project nurtured hope, dignity, and connection while helping children build lasting memories that remind them they are seen and loved.

A Christmas Miracle in Doboșeni: 930 Gifts for Disadvantaged Children

Together with 35 volunteers from Suceava, Sibiu, and Bucharest, we managed to deliver approximately 930 gifts to disadvantaged children in the Brăduț commune – Doboșeni, Filia, Tălișoara, and Brăduț. What seemed impossible – to reach all the children with gifts – was made possible through solidarity, donations, and special store discounts.
