Who is behind hacker25?

At the heart of hacker25 is SoulStream, a purpose-driven tech company on a mission to minimize human suffering through technology. SoulStream is best known as the creator of Bible Chat, the world’s most popular faith app that combines AI technology with deep theological accuracy guided by a Biblical Council that ensures everything stays true to Scripture.

The team behind Bible Chat knows what it takes to build, scale, and sustain a mobile product with global reach. Now, they’re using that knowledge to give back to the developer community in Romania. hacker25 is their invitation to fellow builders: to stop thinking small, to connect with others on the same path, and to create digital products that don’t just solve problems, but elevate lives.

Celebrating the First Winners of Hacker25

The first edition of hacker25 (17 - 18th May 2025) concluded with incredible energy, creativity, and community spirit. Over the course of a single weekend, more than a dozen ambitious mobile apps were brought to life by some of Romania’s most talented young developers. “The first Hacker25 hackathon was a real success! It’s been an intense and rewarding experience, and we’re just getting started." says Cristina Neculai, Event Coordinator at hacker25.

With nearly 100 applicants under the age of 25, the competition was fierce, but the atmosphere was one of support, innovation, and shared excitement for what’s possible when great minds collaborate.

🏆 And the Winner Is… Team Atlas

A huge congratulations to the Atlas team for taking home first prize at the inaugural hacker25 hackathon! Their winning project, MindMate, impressed judges and peers alike with its originality, purpose, and execution.

MindMate is an AI-powered mobile app that offers therapist-patient matching, guided self-help tools, and emotional tracking. In a time when mental health support is more essential than ever, the app stood out for its thoughtful approach to tech-driven care, combining empathy with intelligent design.
